Noodles are awesome always. Anytime, anywhere no one in my family can ever say no to noodles. These easy Chicken Garlic Noodles are perfect for those nights when you seriously need something quick, easy, and comfy.
Its been a while since a published a new recipe on my blog. I was working on a couple of old recipes and updating them with new pictures and content. The other day, I was just reading the Burnt Garlic noodles recipe on my blog, and that inspired me to try a similar recipe with Shredded chicken. The outcome was a super delicious noodle recipe in such a less time.
Here is why I loved this recipe-

- It is a one-pot meal, that comes under 30 minutes.
- I always have these ingredients on hand. If you like cooking with Asian flavors at all, you probably have soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil, noodles and some veggies in your kitchen.
- I used colored pepper, celery, and onions, but you use other vegetables too.
- If you like chicken, use chicken. I find it one of the best ways to use leftover boiled or grilled chicken. If you don’t like chicken, you can use Veggies. Any kind can work.
- It is so simple and easy to make.
Cooking Noodles can be a little Challange for some of you. When I was a beginner, I always used to overcook my noodles and hence the result was a kind of sticky and mushy noodles.
- Here are few tips to cook perfect noodles.
- Boil water in a large pot. To make sure noodles doesn’t stick together, use at least 4 quarts of water for every pound of noodles.
- Add a tablespoon of water and a teaspoon of oil.
- Read the package instructions and boil till the noodles are just done.
- Drain the noodle water and run the noodles under cold water. Now let the noodles dry.

Chicken Garlic Noodles
Prep Time 15 minutesCook Time 10 minutesTotal Time 25 minutesServings 4Ingredients
- 2 Cups Boiled Noodles
- 1 Cup Boiled and Shredded Chicken
- 3 tbsp Finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 Cup Thinly sliced colored Bell peppers
- 2 Sticks sliced celerly
- 2 stalks spring onion greens
- 1 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 6 tsp oil
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the Oil in a Wok or Iron Kadhai, and once the oil is hot, add chopped garlic

Now add Boiled and Shredded chicken and saute for 5 minutes on low flame.

Add bell peppers, celery and saute for 1 minutes

Add the noodles, spring onions, sauces and salt and black pepper

Give everything a toss together on high flame, sprinkle red chili flakes and garnish with more spring onion greens and serve hot.
Recipe Notes
This recipe is really a time saver if you plan ahead. Boil the noodles before and boil the chicken as well.
You can add more vegetables to this recipe, like broccoli, mushrooms, carrots.
If you like spicier, add chili garlic sauce to the noodles.
Add salt in the last after doing a taste check.
