SESAME POTATO TOAST

IMG_7331
Sesame Potato Toast is an easy and delicious snack which kids would love to eat. It has a crunchy base with crisp and attractive top. I used white bread in this recipe but you may use brown or multigrain bread. Crunchy nutty flavored sesame seeds are widely recognized as healthy, low glycemic foods. The seeds are also very valuable sources of dietary protein with fine quality amino acids that are essential for growth, especially in children. Just 100 g of seeds provide about 18 g of protein.

This Snack is very Quick and easy to make and kids love it. I made this in a hurry for my son’s after school snack, so I didn’t add any vegetables to it. You may add some chopped vegetables or Paneer to the potato mixture too. You can also deep fry them but then you have to spread a mixture of corn flour and water on top of the potato mixture.
