Besan and Paneer Cheela

Besan and Paneer Cheela is a very healthy breakfast option. It is full of protein and nutrition and it is a very good option for people who are diabetic or who are trying for weight loss. I myself is n low carb diet these days and so I found this cheela very filling and healthy and of course delicious. Here in this recipe I have used Paneer ( Indian cottage cheese) but you can use Cheese or tofu any thing you want. They are very easy and quick to make and are served with chutney or ketchup.

Here is the recipe
BESAN AND PANEER CHEELA| GRAM FLOUR AND INDIAN CHEESE PANCAKE
INGREDIENTS:

Besan or Gram flour-1cup
Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
Ajwain seeds or carom seeds-1tsp
Yogurt-1/2 cup
Chopped coriander leaves-1tbsp
Shredded Paneer-1/4 cup
Chopped green chillies-1
salt and pepper to taste.
Water to make batter
oil for making.

METHOD

    • Take Besan, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, ajwain seeds, salt and mix them together. Add water to make a batter ( Pancake consistency) Leave this batter aside for 20 minutes.

  • Spray oil in a non stick pan and make a Pancake

  • Flip the side and cook it. Add Paneer on top and fold it.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or chutney and Enjoy.NOTES

    Always Seive besan to avoid lumps.
    The batter must not be too runny or too thin.
